Buck Lake Testimonials

We came home yesterday from Sunset Point (aka Buck Lake #4) after a great week. The cottage is so lovely, as you know. The huge windows and high ceiling, the decor, the bedrooms and loft, the great kitchen, and my favorite, the sweet Muskoka room. It was a treat for us to be in such a lovely space. The ping pong and fooze ball was a bonus on rainy days! And the paddling was so nice. We also appreciated the natural landscaping and the hammock.

We saw lots of wildlife during our stay - mostly on our paddles - doe, fawn, hummingbirds, loons, frogs, turtle, blue heron, geese and goslings, etc etc. And our boy had fun at Camp Tawingo while my hubby and I enjoyed some rare time together. :)

We very much enjoyed our stay - thank you! Such a lovely cottage - the décor, the paintings, the grand windows, the cozy Muskoka room, great kitchen... and so much to do, even on rainy days. We went for paddles down the river and creek around Buck and fawn lakes. Evening campfires and a moon lit lake rounded out the beautiful days. We saw lots of wildlife - fawn, doe, turtle, blue heron, frogs, loon, baby geese, hummingbirds and diverse plant life. Lovely! A wonderful week! :)

P.S. Dock fishing is excellent. Six species caught (and released): walleye, smallmouth bass, rock bass, lake trout, yellow perch and northern pike.

Once again we have had a wonderful week here at “Sunset Point”. Our son Ryan caught a huge big bass off the dock. He had a struggle getting it in and when he saw how large it was you could hear his screams of delight across the lake! At 8 years old, this will be a memory (and a story) for the rest of his life. A few nights we had the pleasure of a brilliant star filled sky that lit up the night like we’ve never seen before – breathtaking. Thank you.

Your beautiful cottage exceeded all our expectations! All the comforts of a warm, tastefully decorated interior, to the spectacular beauty of the landscape that surrounds.
